Amalfi Coast tour

Let’s discover together one of the most famous UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE (from 1997), a frequent stopover during the 18th Century for the Europeans involved in their Grand Tour.
At the present day it is a very popular jest-set destination where you can enjoy the typical Mediterranean climate and landscape characterized by its amazing coastline surrounded by lemon groves overlooking the sea.

Amalfi
The capital of the Maritime Republic known as the Duchy of Amalfi, powerful and reach pearl of the Mediterranean Sea, you can visit the majestic Cathedral of Amalfi which preserves the relics of Saint Andrew (the Apostle) and its evocative cloister. Take a relaxing walk in the suggestive alleys full of shops, reach the Paper Museum to learn about the journey of handmade paper or have a nice stop tasting the local cuisine enjoying the atmosphere.
Ravello
It is known as the Music Town, a picturesque sight overlooking the Amalfi Coast far from the sea. Famous for its ancient Cathedral, vestiges of Arab-Sicilian style, Villa Cimbrone with the “Terrace of the Infinite” that shows you the coastline as you never see it and Villa Rufolo where Richard Wagner in 1880 was inspired to compose its “Parsifal”. In the main square you can have a relaxing stop drinking local wine or buying souvenirs in the cute shops.
Positano
The Vertical City, famous all over the world for the Moda Positano, a style very appreciated. The view from downtown is very special and the beaches with their crystalline water are the best place to spend some hours to rest. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta and the very narrow streets full of shops are part of the magical atmosphere that reigns in the city, from the Romans (you can visit the recently discovered Roman Villa) till today one of the most charming towns on the Amalfi Coast.

Sorrento – Naples tour

Sorrento is like a balcony over the sea overlooking Naples, Capri and Vesuvius. This tour offers you the possibility to visit two of the most famous cities in Italy rich in culture, history and good food.

Sorrento
Its name is due to the myth of the Sirens, the mermaids that enchanted Ulysses and his crew. It is located on the promontory on the Gulf of Naples. Walking downtown you can spend time visiting the workshops where the artisans carve wood or tasting some Limoncello, the typical liqueur made with local lemons. Obviously the Duomo and the S. Francesco’s Basilica are two sites to visit as well as Torquato Tasso Square dedicated to the poet Torquato Tasso.
Naples
Naples is the third-most populous metropolitan city in Italy, one of the cities that most identify Italy. Every breath you take in Naples will be rich in Art, Culture and History. It was founded by Greeks and it had a history full of events. The historic centre is UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE from 1995, you can walk through Spaccanapoli, arrive to Castel Nuovo by the sea or take a coffee in Piazza Plebiscito or visit the suggestive Veiled Christ holds in Cappella Sansevero… and many other places to visit but of course do not forget to taste the real Neapolitan Pizza or to shop in Galleria Umberto.

Caserta tour

Caserta
The best known part of this city is the Royal Palace of Caserta (18th Century), “the Versailles of Italy”, UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE from 1997.
It was constructed by the House of Bourbon-Two Scillies (King Charles VII) and the architect Luigi Vanvitelli as King of Naples’ residence. It was considered a triumph of Italian Baroque and it is ahead of its time, its “telescope effect” is very famous: gardens, pools, fountains and cascades aligned as far as the eye can see. The impressive palace counts 5 floors, 1.200 rooms, 1.742 windows, 34 staircases, 1.026 fireplaces, a theatre inspired to the Teatro San Carlo of Naples and a huge garden that takes your breathe away with its beauty. A leap into the past and into the splendour of the Court!

Paestum – Salerno tour

Paestum
Named Poseidon by the Greek founders, Paestum was one of the most important ancient Greek colonies on the Coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Magna Graecia. This archaeological sight is very popular for the three ancient Greek temples in the Doric order dating from about 550 to 450 BC and preserved in excellent conditions. Two of the temples were dedicated to Hera and one to Athena, the defensive walls that surrounded the ancient city are largely intact and only part of the amphitheatre is unhurt. Before leaving, do not forget to visit the enigmatic Tomb of the Diver. The evocative atmosphere of Paestum will deeply touch your soul.
Salerno
The ancient city of Salerno was one of the most important ports on the Mediterranean sea with a vibrant Greco-Roman heritage. During the period of the independent Principality of Salerno, in the early Middle Age, the glorious Schola Medica Salernitana was founded. Under the control of the Sanseverino Family it became a fervent cultural and artistic center and later, with Napoleon (18th century), became part of Parthenopean Republic. It was an active center during the Italian Risorgimento and scene of Operation Avalanche during the Second World War. In the Crypt of the Cathedral dedicated to Saint Matthew are kept his relics. You can have a walk in the historical center to buy local souvenirs or enjoy the scent of the sea on Lungomare Trieste.

Pompeii – Vesuvius – Herculaneum tour

The Eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD completely buried Pompeii and Herculaneum allowing the history and uses of these ancient civilizations to reach us. The concept of this Tour is to take you in the fascinating Roman Empire.

Pompeii
It is one of the most famed archeological touristic UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE (from 1997) in Italy. For many centuries Pompeii slept under the ash, the Greco-Roman frozen city was discovered in the 16th century and the excavations have brought to light the everyday life of the inhabitants that were buried in the moment of the eruption. Walking through the main streets of the ancient city you will realize how the Romans used to live, seeing the Forum, the public buildings (Amphitheatre, Palaestra, Temples, Aqueduct…), the service buildings and many other remains of the past. You will have the chance to spend your day in a unique way.
Vesuvius
Mount Vesuvius (1.232 mt high) is a quiescent volcano known for its eruption of 79 DC that destroyed Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and many other settlements. By the Romans it was connected with the myth of Hercules. Getting to the top of the crater, crossing the Vesuvius National Park (WORLD RESERVE OF THE BIOSPHERE-UNESCO), you will enjoy an astonishing view of the Gulf of Naples.
Herculaneum
It had the same fate as Pompeii, but it is less famous than Pompeii, although it was discovered before (in 1709) and it has been better preserved due to the pyroclastic material that covered the city carbonizing and preserving several objects. The city is divided into blocks and The Forum, temples, theatre, numerous houses and necropolises are still buried, but anyway there are many houses to visit and the famous luxurious villa, “Villa of the Papyri”.

Mozzarella tour
Full day excursion (duration 8 hours)
Campania Region is very well-known for the production of Mozzarella. This tour is thought out to offer you the occasion to visit a Buffalo farm where you can see the local workers making by hand not only this special cheese but also yoghurt and many other delicatessen. Guests can enjoy the visit of the farm animals and have a sample of the rural life. Of course, you will taste many specialities and also buy some souvenirs or local products if you wish to bring home something special from the Region.
Wine tour
Half day excursion (duration 5 hours)
Italy and wine a combination that has not equal! Your private English speaking driver will take you in this outstanding tour, you will walk through the vineyards seeing the different kinds of grapes and the farming methods, breathing the scent of the grapes. The staff will show you the wine production process, starting from the harvest to the barrel, finishing with the most awaited part: Tasting local wines and liquors.
